When idSoftware decided to give freedom to the engine of the famous Doom and set it as Open Source, all those Doom lovers and game developers tried to emulate parallel version of the game keeping the essence of the game.

However, the engine of doom on its own is not playable, you need a resource file denominated IWAD that contains all data of the game: textures, graphics, sounds, music, enemies, etc.

FreeDoom is one of those IWAD files, build up from zero and it will be loved by all those gamers out there.

32 scenarios and 3 difficult levels are waiting for you, grasp your weapons and start killing enemies.

Important information:
FreeDoom is just an IWAD file, you'll need an engine of Doom to run it. We recommend you Risen3D.
